Grape, raspberry, chocolate. A relatively mild, light-roasted coffee with low acidity. This coffee is a collection of coffee beans from many small-scale producers, who deliver their coffee to Nangondo washing station. Here the fruit pulp is removed, and the beans are then soaked in water so that the remaining pulp is cleaned off through fermentation. The beans are then washed again and sorted for quality before being placed on raised beds to dry in the sun for several days. The result is a rounded, mild and fruity coffee which works best as a pour-over or aeropress to best preserve the fruitiness.
